Doom

When you talk Doom, you talk about one of the biggest PC hits of the 1990’s, naturally the race to get a console conversion was on. When it came to Sega versions, sadly it’s a bit mixed bag, the 32X version is scaled back but certainly playable whereas the poor Saturn version was rushed and botched hugely, there’s rumours that a better version was in development but scrapped by ID as it would have required too much extra time to get up and running so enjoy that walking pace FPS or just skip this.

It’s currently around £30 but beware of GT Interactive’s cheap discs which seem to expose pin holes quicker than other Saturn games of the time.
