Artwork section added!

I haven’t been around for a little while, well, I haven’t had much time to be doing posts and such, but that doesn’t mean that I haven’t been collecting still. I have actually amassed a huge amount of PAL games in the last six months with some of these being disc only versions, I have needed to print up the artwork…. Trouble is, there isnt really a great selection out there.

What I aim to do with the drop down box at the top of the page there is provide scans of my various games to aid other collectors who are considering loose copies of games, copy what you want for free, all I ask in return is a view or two on my Youtube content at MICFilmsEntertainment.

Recent Pickups!

Since this whole virus business is keeping most of us indoors recently, I have decided to pick up some cheap imports on eBay ready for some new videos sometime this week (hopefully!). Both are quite late releases on the console and one was even ported to the Dreamcast later.

Black Matrix and Sorvice were released in 1998 when the Saturn was on life support over here so there were no chances of language translations and ports of these games – I intend to have a mess around with them and see how stuck I get, I figure Sorvice is going to be easier to navigate around than Black Matrix, but we shall see! Expect a detailed review and summary with a video of each soon!

English Translations, Are they Viable?

I’ve been busy today trying to get my head around patching the Japan only release of Dragon Force II, my stumbling block thus far has come quite early on in the form of Isobuster. My Vaio has a Blu-Ray drive in it so perhaps this is messing things up or it’s just creating the .iso hilariously slow. A shame then, as I would like to be able to know what I am doing before offering up a video of the native Japanese release, having never played either the first or second game.

What I don’t really understand is why there isn’t just an all-in-one solution, in 2020, I don’t think Sega are going to be particularly worried about a fan translated game from 1998 which they didn’t deem worth releasing in the West. I will keep trying with it though and see where we get.

More games added!

I’ve added a fair few games to the above drop down box, there’s some sports and puzzle games and a few other friendly imports added, I have a huge delivery of imports coming soon so I’ll get cracking on adding more so keep checking back from time to time!

I have added this particular game to the directory, I really do hate snowboarding games and to honest, the video shows as such! Check it out if you’re thinking of importing this one.

New Content! 29/03/2020

I’ve been busy adding some new content to the page, to be honest – this is actually previous material that myself and my best pal Mike released a few years back, so the ‘under construction’ section is now open and labelled as other ‘Other Useful Saturn Stuff’ where Mike and I play some Saturn games to see how they have aged and what sort of price you can expect to pay these days. I have fleshed these videos out with how I find these games now, in 2020. Have a look if you fancy it.
